SMSBump should really consider the enable the customized FROM field even without a monthly plan, this is for us the main reason we dont use it as much as we wish, it is of no intrest for us to have a monthly paid plan for now, but who knows what will happen laten later on.

IF we where able to use the from field even without a plan, we would at least use it.

Too bad as we really like the extension :)

Thank you for your feedback. 

As of now the from filed is populated with the number you have register your account with which means that the sms will be send from your own number. The recepients will see it as a sender. Alternatevely if you have purchased a dedicated number you have the option to choose it as a sender as well.
