Still love this product. Simple question really since I haven't been working in ExcelPort for many months and if I knew this, I've forgotten.

I'm about to do a bunch of data integrity work and want to know how to search on a null field. In other words, all the products with no value in say... Meta Tag Description.

Unfortunately ExcelPort does not support searching for NULL fields, but you should be able to search for empty fields.

Semantics.  In this case I simply want to search a field for any records with nothing in the field itself.  Naturally I can dump everything and using conditional formatting in excel, highlight empty fields, but it would be easier to have those records in one concise spreadsheet.

How would I search for empty fields?  Is it something like Description = (then leave the value blank)?

That worked, I used "Is exactly" and left the field blank. Got what I needed.
