I have installed PreOrder 2.2 in OpenCart 2.0.3.1 and everything works beautifully, as advertised and as expected, EXCEPT the Add to Cart button is NOT replaced with the Pre-Order button. I'm apparently not alone.

Installed used "the old fashion method" if that helps.

Hello Bob,

Since you used the old-fashioned-method, please make sure that you have also installed the ocmod file that comes with the module.

Hope this helps!

Hi!

I used the "new method" on an 2.0.3.1-installation.

I found out that I had to add the module to the product-layout for it to work. But I don't get it to work when the products are listed in the category-layout, featured products-module on the home page etc.

Any idea why not?

Best regards

Thomas

Hello,

Willian, the ocmod file is the one named install.xml in the zip folder with the files of the module. In order to install it through the extension installer you'll need to rename it to install.ocmod.xml . The full instructions are added in the installation instructions .txt file in the zip folder.

As for the pages in which the button is changed, currently the module changes the Add-to-Cart button only in the product page in OC 2.0.x. The new version of the module, however, will have the functionality to change all Add-to-Cart buttons as long as the module is added to the specific page layout from Design >> Layouts.

I hope this helps!
