Hi

I manage my business in using a ERP database were I do all my pricing and all other things to run my business. I can export content in a regular row and column excel document.

I use products with weight options. Example; I have RICE as the product and the options are the sizes:

  • 500g
  • 1kg
  • 5kg

I have installed excelport and have very easily bulk imported my categories and products. For products I used the quick export. I did this by creating the export document with ExcelPort and matching the excel output from my external data base to this. All good.

BUT How do I import the options and the attributes for the products? I can not understand the full export for products. I can not make sense of the format of this.

Can someone please help. Is there videos or some other type of documentation?

Please Help

Hello Brett Monaghan,

ExcelPort works beautifully with OpenCart native database tables and entires. I could not quite understand what exactly you are trying to achieve with the extension. We have a blog post which goes through the steps of migration one  OpenCart store to another. You may find it helpfull - https://isenselabs.com/posts/how-to-migrate-from-opencart-1x-to-opencart-2x-with-excelport.

Since ExcelPort is a payed extension and in case you have a valid product license for it you could open a support ticket in our system and our team would do their best to help you resolve any issues you have with the extension.

Hope that helps.
