How is it possible to exclude the temp folder from anyports back of my opencart site

I have this setting selected  'All OpenCart files and folders'

but I have issues running out of diskspace because after sending to dropbox anyport does not delete the backup file from the temp folder, or it includes the temp folder in the backup so the backups get progressively larger until the server runs out of space,

As the documentation of OpenCart says, these files/folders are excluded when a backup is being made:

When doing the backup, AnyPort excludes the contents of the following folders:  image/cache, system/cache, vqmod/vqcache, image/imagecache, temp (only leaving the index.html file) 

So I guess that there is something else that is making the backups so big. If you still have not figured out what the issue is, I suggest you to open a support ticket on our website.
