Hello,

i am using the facebooklogin plugin. I had no problems with the installation and the creation of the facebook app in order to get the key and the secret.

The facebook app is enabled and operational. The facebook login button is shown on the website, when i click it, it gives me the pop-up window to enter the facebbok credentials, and if entered correctly it proceeds and gives me a blank page. on the address bar i see the correct redirect address...

I am using opencart version 2.1.0.2 , with the theme Journal 2.6.9 . Vqmod is installed.

Also i checked the error log on the server and it gives me the following line as error

[Fri Feb 05 12:03:29 2016] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] PHP Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting ')' in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxx.com/httpdocs/shop/catalog/controller/account/facebooklogin.php on line 27, referer: http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com/shop/index.php?route=account/login

is it a problem from the plugin or mine?

Thank you for posting.

It seems that your PHP version is lower than 5.4 and this is why FacebookLogin does not work as it should. As you can see from the requirements on the product page of FacebookLogin, the module requires PHP 5.4+.
