Error: incorrect username or password |
Hello,
I use OC 1.5.6. on an Apache server and have Codemanger 1.0.1. installed. Unfortunately I get an error stating: incorrect username or password in the bottom right corner of the screen when I start Codemanager. No files will load and I only see a black file/editing screen. The extension does load and I'm able to grant temporary access etc. In my previous installation (Codemanager 1.0) I could see the files but was not able to modify (all of) them. I set register_globals status to off because of security reasons. On installation of Codemanager 1.0 it stated that it should be "on" but turning it "off" seemed to have no negative effect. I prefer to have it off because of the very high security risks when in on mode.
It seems that when I log in to OC with all permissions granted in my backend OC system, I do not have permission to access my files on my server from there. The credentials for my OC login, user login to my VPS server (this user has full access to all the files on my server) and SQL database login are all different. The database login credentials are set correctly in my OC config files.
Does anyone have a solution to get Codemanager working / logged in to my files? Probably I have to manage to get access somehow to the files on my server. Can I set access to my server files somewhere in OC (by adding/changing code) like it is done for my database in the config files?
Appreciate your help very much.
Regards, Johan
Hello Johan,
Apologies for the delay.
For the issue with the incorrect username/password, you can try removing completely CodeManager from your OpenCart installation and then make a fresh installation of the module.
The issue with editing files through the module is most probably caused by the fact that your PHP user does not have permissions to do such actions. You have to check if your server has such restrictions.
Hope this helps!
