email verification extension - the category won't list e-mail verificationThis discussion has been marked as solved |
I have installed e-mail verification extension and i receive following error message on the screen. everything works, if I go back and verify my account.
It just displays the following error message, eventhough it sent e-mail for verification.
"E-Mail to required! in /home/ec2-user/public_html/system/library/mail.php on line 61"
Same Issue but with different error we are facing.
Fatal error: Call to a member function setTo() on a non-object in /home/nghco/public_html/ngh/catalog/model/module/emailverification.php on line 44
Installed successfully but on registration it is showing above error.
the email verification 1.0 module for opencart 2.1.0.1 is not working. The module editing isn't getting saved in the modules section of the admin panel. Please help
I have also installed this extension on opencart 2.1.0.2 successfully but no email is being sent with the notification link.
I have disabled the default opencart email alert for new customers as explained at http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=60912 but the expected email verification message is not being generated.
Any answers?
Hello,
The latest versions of the extensions were released a couple of days ago. All the reported issues were resolved there. Please update and share your experience with us.
Note: Please make sure you are installing the correct version for your OpenCart installateion. The latest version for OpenCart 2.2.x is 1.2.3 and for OpenCart 1.5.x is 1.1.2.
Hope that helps.
Failed to install correctly using the Extension Installer in OC 2.2.0.0. Was however able to install it manually via FTP. Initial setup was straight forward, however after a number of tests I'm still not receiving the confirmation email. Default registration email from OC works so I know it's not a mail setting. Any suggestions?
The email verification on OC 2.1.0.2 is working fine for me except:
when the customer tries to re-verify (the already verified) account and the "already verified" page where the customer is asked to "contact the store owner" should take customers to the "contact" page but it doesn't. It rather redirects to "mystore.com/mystore" with a "%20".
The is the original link to verify account.

Please check and advise how to fix.
Thanks
Just to add that I found the file that needs amending (I think)
/catalog/language/english/module
all the instances where it says <a href="%s">contact the store owner. But I don't know what should replace "%s" bit so the customers are redirected to "mystore.com/contact-us
Please advise.
