Hi:

I just installed the mod, but I'm not seeing the watermarks…

Do I need to have qvmod installed?

I'm not seeing any issues in the error log either, and I pretty much accepted the defaults in the configuration…

Hi Robert,

Yes, in order to work properly iWatermark needs vQmod installed on your website. This might be the reason you cannot see the watermark image.

If after installing the vQmod the problem persist you can try clearing your browser cache. Additionally, if you have a page cache module enabled you should try clear your website cache.

Hi

I have VQmod installed but I am not seeing watermaks either.

Do the images need to be in a specific folder, or do they need to be uploaded after installing iWatermark?

Thanks

Hello Martin,

The latest OpenCart versions (2.0 +) don't use vQmod as a rewriting engine, but OCmod. If your OpenCart installation is v. 2.0 +, then the WaterMark module doesn't need vQmod installed, but you need to install the module through your extension installer and make sure that the modifications are refreshed and applied as explained in the installation instructions of the module.

The images don't need to be in a specifici folder, nor to be uploaded after the installation of the module.

I believe that your issue was solved through our tickets system and the issue was that the modifications weren't refreshed and thus, applied. I am marking this issue as solved.
