if I choose to continue using the normal opencart search engine, what kind of difference does it make? It is a bit unclear to me, if the performance gain would be still there, if I deactivate it.

The problem is, that the new iSearch result page messed up my design and after some trial I don't have a clue, how to fix it.

The performance gain from iSearch is active only if you use the module. 

The problem is, that the new iSearch result page messed up my design and after some trial I don't have a clue, how to fix it.
