I have installed the mod in site, and all bits passed, but the blue button is not functioning... please can we get some advice as to how to solve, since this mod will save a lot of work, with FTP etc.

thanks.

Hello Phillowry,

Thank you for reaching us!

Can you tell us which version of OpenCart are you using?

Hope this helps!

Stoyan, I am using 1.5.6.1 - testing on this site, http://socialeatsnbrews.com before we move it to another site... really like the idea.

Hello Phillowry,

Can you make sure you have uploaded all the files of the module and there is no missing or damaged file?

Hi there. I have the same problem as Phillowry ... after installing and hitting the 'Edit' link, I get the following.

CodeManager 1.0.1

Requirements check

Please make sure the following exist and are writeable:

C:\SiteData\allflags.com.au\wwwroot/vendors/codemanager/config.php - PASSED C:\SiteData\allflags.com.au\wwwroot/vendors/codemanager/workspace - PASSED C:\SiteData\allflags.com.au\wwwroot/vendors/codemanager/plugins - PASSED C:\SiteData\allflags.com.au\wwwroot/vendors/codemanager/themes - PASSED C:\SiteData\allflags.com.au\wwwroot/vendors/codemanager/data - PASSED

And the "Finish installing" button ... but clicking the button doesn't do anything. And I go to the "System -> Code Manager" menu, it shows me the same as the above. I've even tried re-installing from the downloaded zip file.

Look forward to your help.

Simon

Hello Simon,

Do you get some kind of error or warning? Can you post us a screenshot?

Hope this helps!

Hi Stoyan ... I tried to upload a screen shot in both Safari and Firefox, but it appears that the image upload facility in this forum isn't quite working.

Anyway, here's a screen shot on our web server: http://dev.allflags.com.au/codemanager.gif

No error, in fact exactly as I posted above ... "Passed" everything, with no errors. Ah, I've just tried it on Internet Explorer and there is a Javascript error:

Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; BOIE8;ENUSMSCOM) Timestamp: Mon, 14 Jul 2014 03:58:42 UTC

Message: Object doesn't support this property or method Line: 388 Char: 1 Code: 0 URI: http://dev.allflags.com.au/admin/index.php?route=module/codemanager&token=c682252f09cc88cf046605a06caec941

Although I don't think it's related to Code Manager, as the line 388 is:

document.addEventListener("fullscreenchange", toggleFull, false);

Thank you for following back.

Regarding this:

document.addEventListener("fullscreenchange", toggleFull, false);

Can you try commenting the lines from 145 to 147 in admin/view/template/module/codemanager.tpl to see if the error still persist?

Hope this helps!

Thanks Stoyan. So the JS error doesn't turn up, but the "Finish installing" button still does nothing. And I've tried it on a Mac and PC, on Safari, Firefox and IE.

However, I've just viewed Firefox's Firebug "Console" window and the following error is shown: 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Screenshot: http://dev.allflags.com.au/codemanager2.jpg

This is in the CodeManager page: \vendors\codemanager\components\install\process.php

Cheers.

This probably means that the issue is related to your server. Here are some of the possible reasons:

  • Your PHP user does not have properly set up read / write permissions
  • Incorrectly configured .htaccess file
  • Old version of PHP

Can you please check this and get back to us if the issue still persist?

Currently there are lots of people are using CodeManager and you are one of the very few people reporting this issue so the problem should be somewhere on your side.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Stoyan, but I don't appear to be getting much closer to resolving this issue.

We're running PHP 5.4.2.29, which is pretty new. Is there anything glaringly obvious in our PHP Info file? http://dev.allflags.com.au/phpinfo.php

I have directory RW & Modify permissions set as per Open Cart's requirements:- - IUSR - Network Service - IIS_IUSRS

And as for the .htaccess file(s) ... we're not using them - and I've even deleted them to see if that made any difference.

I've even tried re-installing CodeManager from scratch, but again no difference.

Really hope you can help me here, as CodeManager looks great.
