[iSenseLabs Weekly 91] New OpenCart Features & Fixes, Video Tutorials and Latest E-Commerce News

Time to end another week with a long list of new OpenCart module releases and updates.

It was a very productive week and we’re eager to show you the updates we've been working on as well as the ones we're currently working on.

Spoiler alert: you will soon see the new version of LabelMaker which we are aiming to raise the bar in the UI game for OpenCart 3.x extensions.

ExcelPort 3.0.2 (OC 3.x)

New feature: Add option to export products which are not assigned to any store.

Improvement: The custom error handler is now PHP-version agnostic.

Improvement: Better styling of alerts for jCart on Joomla.

Improvement: The progress file can now be renamed using a custom config file.

Improvement: A more descriptive error message in case the uploaded file exceeds upload_max_filesize.

Improvement: Add data validations to Bulk product export.

Improvement: Add Meta sheet data about Shipping Method, Shipping Code, Payment Method, Payment Code.

Improvement: "Import as new" is now available for: Products, Attributes and Attribute Groups, Customers, Customer Groups, Manufacturers, Coupons, Gift Vouchers.

Improvement: Link for ExcelPort added in the System menu.

Improvement: Order statistics are now automatically updated after order import.

Bug fix: The progress file is no longer restricted by the .htaccess rule.

Bug fix: Provided a built-in solution for the error with default_charset set to 'UTF-8;'.

Bug fix: Cancel and breadcrumb links are fixed.

Bug fix: ExcelPort status now says Enabled in the module listing.

Bug fix: Export/Import of OpenStock value containing the option value '0' is working now.

ExcelPort 2.5.5 (OC 2.0.0.0 to OC 2.2.0.0)

New feature: Add option to export products which are not assigned to any store.

Improvement: Synchronize the customer template sheet with the one in OC 3.x

Improvement: The custom error handler is now PHP-version agnostic.

Improvement: Custom Field was exported/imported as a serialized array to/from OpenCart 2.0.x. Now, for all OpenCart versions the Custom Fields are always handled as JSON-encoded objects.

Improvement: Better styling of alerts for jCart on Joomla.

Improvement: The progress file can now be renamed using a custom config file.

Improvement: A more descriptive error message in case the uploaded file exceeds upload_max_filesize.

WaterMark 3.2.1 (OC 3.x)

Improvement: install() and uninstall() methods are now executable only if the user has modify permissions for the route extension/extension/module. This helps avoid direct calls to these methods.

WaterMark 2.2.1 (OC 2.0.0.0 to 2.3.0.2)

Improvement: Add ThemeBurn compatibility

Bug fix: Modification issue fixed in case the resized images also have a 'type' variable.

Bug fix: Fixed image upload issue which was occurring on some servers.

WaterMark 1.6.1 (OC 1.5.4.x to 1.5.6.x)

Bug fix: Fixed image upload issue which was occurring on some servers.

FacebookStore 2.5.6 (OC 2.x) and 3.0.4 (OC 3.0.x)

New feature: Sort by dropdowns for product listing pages

Improvement: Compatibility with Klarna checkout and coupon tracking

BuyNow 3.4.3 (OC 3.0.x)

Bug fix: Fix the automatic resizing of the container for the selected products.

DisqusComments 3.3.2 (OC 3.0.x)

Improvement: OpenCart 3.0.x compatibility.

EmailVerification 3.0.3 (OC 3.0.x)

Improvement: OpenCart 3.0.x compatibility.

Improvement: The extension is 100% event-based. It does not rely on any modifications.
