iSenseLabs Weekly 106: What's New in Your OpenCart Extensions
Announcing another massive batch of OpenCart extension updates!
The team just brewed up tons of new module versions. You will see a lot of OpenCart 3.x compatibility updates and new features adding more and more value to our premium extensions.

OpenCart Extension Updates
Amazon Pay and Login with Amazon 1.0.1 | OpenCart 1.5.x
Improvement
- Change the Login with Amazon extension name in German. 'Melden Sie sich bei Amazon an' is now 'Login mit Amazon'.
- Missing database tables are now automatically created as soon as you visit Extensions > Payment > Amazon Pay and Login with Amazon.
- The JavaScript debug messages in testing mode are now outputted in the JavaScript console only if there is an active admin user session.
- Include front-end language translations for French, Italian, German and Spanish.
- In case the Amazon user has provided only one name, it is now used as the OpenCart customer first name, not the last name.
- The required integration keys are now trimmed after clicking Save. This is to ensure no white spaces before/after the keys will break the extension.

Improvement

- Add install/upgrade instructions notifying the OpenCart administrator to clear their Theme cache after uploading the extension files.
- The name of the whole extension has been unified to 'Amazon Pay and Login with Amazon'.
- We have introduced admin panel language packs for: German, Spanish, French and Italian.
- Missing database tables are now automatically created as soon as you visit Extensions > Payment > Amazon Pay and Login with Amazon.
- The JavaScript debug messages in testing mode are now outputted in the JavaScript console only if there is an active admin user session.

SEO Backpack 2.8.3 & 3.8.3 | OpenCart 2.x & 3.x
Improvement
- The random string suffix to a slug, when the currently created URL already exists, is now refactored. Instead of 5-6 random numbers with no meaning, the suffix now includes the product/category/information/manufacturer ID and the language ID
- The Page Crawler now works even on stores where there is an SSL certificate but it is not set up correctly
- Better explanation for the detected URLs and their possible redirects
Bug Fixes
- Price field not being detected correctly if it has commas (For example: 9,999.25)
- Detected pages filter - the date filter now works
- Improved trimming of the HTML tags in the automatic Meta Description generation
- The headings counter not being displayed correctly in the Page Crawler (OpenCart 3.x)
- The product image not being displayed correctly in the structured data code (OpenCart 3.x)
- Fix language switching bug, when the experimental option "language folder string in the URL" is enabled (OpenCart 2.0.x-2.3.x)
- Small hooking issue for the H1 and H2 tag editing feature (OpenCart 2.0 - 2.2.x)

- Added option to choose for which customer groups the bundle discount to be applied. If you don't select any group, the bundle discount will operate as before. However, if you make a selection, the discount will be applied only to the selected group(s). This is an optional feature and can be configured separately for each bundle.

- Compatibility with Journal2 theme and adaptive design.
