Compliance pages

GDPR/CCPA compliance pages are automatically created when you install our app. These pages include all the necessary GDPR/CCPA types of requests your store needs in order to be compliant with the latest EU/CCPA laws.

Your website visitors should have easy access to your store's compliance page. We recommend adding it as a link in your footer, navigation menus anywhere that can be convenient.

Where can you find these pages? 

You can access the pages by going to Online store > Pages > GDPR (or CCPA) compliance page. You can check what the GDPR/CCPA compliance pages look like on the front side of your store by clicking on the View page button.

These pages give the customer options to submit a request for editing personal account information, exporting order details, requesting a report, and data erasure. Our app is using the customer data from your Shopify store and searches through all emails of the customers. After the customer submits the request, an email with a link will be sent to the customer's email, from where he/she can edit the data, or approve the deletion request.

It is important to mention that all of the information is taken directly from Shopify. We do not store any personal data, except the email of the customer, only if he/she makes a GDPR/CCPA request.


Let's have a look at what you can do through the compliance page:

Submitting a request for editing personal account information

  • Click on Edit your account information

  • Enter your email address and click on Submit

  • Confirm your consent on giving your email and IP address for the request.

  • You will receive an email with your request and after clicking on the Click here button you will be forwarded to a page where you can change all your account information.

Submitting a GDPR/CCPA request

  • Click on GDPR requests

  • Enter your email address and click on Submit

  • Confirm your consent on giving your email and IP address for the request.

  • You will receive an email with your request and after clicking on the Click here button you will be forwarded to a page where you can download the requested information.

Submitting a request for downloading personal information

  • Click on personal information 

  • Enter your email address and click on Submit

  • Confirm your consent on giving your email and IP address for the request.

  • You will receive an email with your request and after clicking on the Click here button you will be forwarded to a page where you can download the requested personal information.

Submitting a request for your order details

  • Click on Orders

  • Enter your email address and click on Submit

  • Confirm your consent on giving your email and IP address for the request.

  • You will receive an email with your request and after clicking on the Click here button you will be forwarded to a page where you can download the orders information.

Submitting a request to access personal data

  • Click on Request a report

  • Enter your email address and click on Submit

  • Confirm your consent on giving your email and IP address for the request.

  • You will receive an email with your request and after clicking on the Click here button you will be forwarded to a page where you will see all your personal information that is stored for you.

Last but not least you can submit a request for account deletion by following the steps below:

  • Click on Request personal data deletion

  • Enter your email address and click on Submit

  • Confirm your consent on giving your email and IP address for the requested purposes

  • You will receive an email with your request and after clicking on the Click here button you will be forwarded to a page where you will be able to confirm the deletion of your account. When your account information is removed you will no longer be able to access it or use it.

  • After you confirm your deletion request via email the request will be logged in the Admin Panel of the app and the store owner should take action for removing the customer’s data.
